Matt Heenan – Butcher

Matt started at Woodlands in 2007 as a cleanup boy after school. He completed his apprenticeship through Woodlands and has been a qualified butcher for five years now. Matt enjoys meeting new clients and learning new things through Woodlands. He enjoys the work, and likes the new opportunities that Woodlands presents him.
He finds it rewarding to see the younger trainees come through, and to help with the training of the new apprentices. Matt brings a lot to his role; he’s versatile and has a can-do attitude that has seen him through. He’s also pretty fast – with record timing on the homekill truck. Outside of work Matt enjoys a bit of hunting, motorbiking and golf.
